Abraham was a businessman: God built his business then built a nation from that enterprise. Many Old Testament prophets were working men and women. Jesus chose marketplace people as his followers. Paul did business in order to best accomplish his mission. And Jesus often intersected the lives of everyday businesspeople with his truth, grace and power.
“Go into the village over there,” he said, “and you will see a donkey tied there, with its colt beside it. Untie them and bring them here. If anyone asks what you are doing, just say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will immediately send them.”
2000 years ago Jesus intervened in the daily routine of the owner of a piece of capital equipment, a donkey. Imagine what your business would look like if Jesus said the same words to you today, “The Lord needs it!” rēp is mobilizing teams of businesspeople to travel to host countries to partner with local business professionals in transformational ventures. 10 consultants transforming 10 companies in 10 days. Working with business owners who share the hope of work as “100% business and 100% ministry” we seek out ways in which their businesses can be re-purposed to align with God’s agenda of extending His kingdom and transforming the societies and nations in which we live.
I want to thank Brett and the rēp team for the GREAT role they are fulfilling in South Africa (and hopefully throughout Africa soon), as they train and mentor business leaders on how to lead Kingdom Companies. I have a strong view that rēp has a GOD given Purpose to assist in the upliftment and empowerment of African leaders to fulfill their GOD given purpose to see Africa become a ‘light to the world’. The wonderful and positive impact which their training has had in the Power Group is immeasurable. Keep up the great work.
