The Marketplace Mentors Concept
Marketplace Mentors are those individuals who are already doing the following:
- Practicing intentional Hospitality
- Celebrating what God is doing, particularly in the marketplace
- Helping the rep Community (mostly Alumni) integrate work and faith
- Deliberately fostering community among marketplace-based believers
- Praying for the expansion of the Kingdom of God through the marketplace

About Out Marketplace Mentors:
Elton lin
Elton is an Entrepreneur, educator, and consultant with experience in social enterprise, leadership development and life coaching.
He is the CEO and founder of ILUMIN Education, an educational consulting firm providing college admissions counseling and life coaching to high school students pursuing long-term personal and professional success.
Elton is also Co-founder of Ellie Fun Day, a social enterprise that designs organic baby blankets that change the lives of marginalized women in India.
SARAH LIN
Sarah delights in all things beautiful and dreams incessantly of a better world. She is currently the co-founder and creative director of Ellie Fun Day; they design organic children's blankets and accessories that empower marginalized women in India. EllieFunDay products are carried in over 100 stores worldwide including Barneys NYC and Nordstroms. Their products have been featured in various media outlets including Martha Stewart Living, Inhabitots, and Earnshaws.
Sarah has worked for over a decade in the graphic design industry in both agency and corporate contexts. In her previous life as a creative director, she has lead global marketing product launches for Applied Materials' market entry into the LED sector and the crystal silicon and thin-film solar field. She has also spearheaded the branding of Safeway's corporate responsibility reporting which has set them on a new trajectory of accountability. Her greatest asset is telling great stories about great products.
Her expertise is in brand identity development, omni-channel marketing strategies, design thinking, social enterprise, ethical supply chain and slow fashion.
Manuel Uhm
Manuel Uhm. He is an advocate for Kingdom Business, ethical marketing, and technological advancements in the wireless industry.
As Director of Marketing for Ettus Research (a National Instruments company) in Silicon Valley, as well as being Chair of the Board of Directors of the Wireless Innovation Forum, Manuel has plenty of opportunities to hone and practise his business acumen, technical skills and heart for Kingdom Business. He has been blessed in his work career with responsibility for all aspects of marketing: strategic marketing, product management (inbound), product marketing (outbound), brand management, business development, media relations and marketing communications, giving him a uniquely holistic perspective on marketing issues.
